Mass Mixer-GMP1
Description
Mixer has been best designed to facilitate thorough mixing of dry or damp materials and is especially suitable for Tablet granulation. The powerful geared drive and sturdy mixing paddle makes our mixer ideal for mixing difficult or sticky ingredients.
Construction
The mixer consists of mixing drum complete in itself. It contains mixing drum body, mixing paddle made of solid bar and SS pipe, 3/8” thick blade welded to the shaft and made as one piece moving and supported by heavy ball bearing and sealing arrangement. The drum rest on MS sturdy frame duly cladded by SS 304 carrying motor, gear box, starter and tilting arrangement. The shaft is driven by oil filled worm gearbox and powered by suitable motor. The blades are designed to optimize mixing of powder. The mixer is also designed for easy cleaning of drum.
Polycarbonate Dust Cover
The material under mixing process can be seen through the unbreakable polycarbonate cover framed in SS square pipes. The cover being hinged can easily slide back to add solution while the machine is in operation.
Sealing Arrangement
Especially designed self adjusting sealing arrangement with Tungsten Carbide end seals of unique design is provided to ensure no black particles and contamination occurs throughout.
Tilting Arrangement
The tilting device is provided to ease the unloading of the material. Tilting is affected by means of a hand wheel on the body of the machine, by a worm and gear arrangement.
Safety
The polycarbonate dust cover is so interlocked by a limit switch that on opening the cover the motor stops automatically. The interlocking system is provided for the safety of the operator and avoid accidents, as the machine will not operate till the time the cover is not fully closed.
